I love Kristen Schaal as Mel on HBO's
Flight of the Conchords. Pure genius. Here, she comments on Sarkozy's statements on the potential for a burqa ban to "free" Muslim women. There's not much room to get too complex in a short comedy segment --and I'm not a fan of the familiar overreliance on comparisons between "their" sartorial foibles and "ours"-- but the part when she eats a jar of mayonaise,
slowly, is some kind of wonderful.
